Site Services NOT provided

Please note: Kempenfest DOES NOT provide on-site water supply (washroom water is not potable), grey water holding or disposal, grease disposal. Any vendor caught dumping grey water or grease into the sewers on site will be subject to penalties levied by the City of Barrie. A $1,000 security deposit will be charged to your credit card a week prior to the festival and will be refunded once it is confirmed that no damages to the parking lot have been made by your operation.

Site Inspections

All food vendors on site must be inspected by the following groups prior to being issued permits to operate (inspections will be arranged by Kempenfest); Simcoe-Muskoka Health Unit, TSA, ESA, City of Barrie Fire, Building, and By-Law departments. Failure to be approved by any of these services will result in closure of your operation, and NO REFUNDS will be provided. It is your responsibility to ensure your operation meets the minimum requirements of these service providers. In order to be ready for these inspections, all food operators MUST load in on Thursday August 3, 2023.

Please choose which size site you require. Note: allow for minimum 2ft clearance on either side of your unit (ie if your unit, including trailer tongue is 20ft long, select a site that is 25ft long.)

All food operators must supply a COI certificate minimum of $2 Million Liability Insurance naming Kempenfest (Barrie) Inc. and the City of Barrie as additional insured. *

Certificate of Insurance must be provided to Kempenfest one month prior to the festival.

In consideration to provide food services at Kempenfest 2023 (the "Festival") I (the "food vendor") jointly & severally agree that the Festival is under no obligation to offer a vending spot, and understand that all food vendors will be notified by February 28, 2023 of the Kempenfest committee's decision to accept/not accept this application. *
