Thank you for your interest in securing a Not-For-Profit booth at Kempenfest. We permit two types of "activations" for NFP's. 1. Awareness Activations - where your activity is simply building awareness of your group/agency. No fund-raising will occur. 2. Fund-Raising Activations - where you are trying to raise funds for your group/agency. This would include ticket sales, promotional product sales, raffles etc. NFP's are not permitted to sell food/drinks. Groups are responsible for their own Lottery Licensing if needed.
We provide space for a 10x10 tent. We do not provide the tent. Tents, tables and chairs can be rented from our preferred supplier Westway Tents. We strongly discourage consumer-grade tent/canopies as the Kempenfest site is near the lake and strong winds are very common. In any event, minimum 12 inch stakes are required to secure a tent.
Exhibitors are required to activate Saturday August 5 through Monday August 7 from 10am to 6pm each day. Set-up date is Friday August 4, 9am to 5pm. Tear down date is Monday August 7 after 6pm.
There is very limited power in the park, and very few sites have access to it. We will take requests, but cannot guarantee it will be available to you. Additional charges may apply.
We do not provide reserved parking for vendors. Parking around Kempenfest is first-come, first-served. We recommend you bring dollies to haul your equipment to your site from the parking lots. There only a few sites available that are near the Accessible Parking Lot (permits required - and subject to capacity limits.) If this is needed, please make that request.
We provide very limited security throughout the park overnight. We accept no responsibility for your equipment. Tents should have sides that can be closed at night, and you should remove anything of value overnight.
