Take the FREE Kempenfest shuttle, easily accessed from Highway 400 and connected to Barrie Transit! Park and ride the designated Barrie Transit shuttle buses from the Park Place Transit Hub (near 149 Live Eight Way), the H-Block Parking Lot (50 Worsley Street) or from an shuttle stop along the route including the Barrie Allandale Transit Terminal (20 Essa Rd), along Lakeshore Drive and downtown on Bayfield Street.

How do I use the free transit pass for Kempenfest?

You have a few options:
● Print the pass from our website
● Pick up a printed pass at the Barrie Allandale Transit Terminal (20 Essa Rd.)
● Use the HotSpot app and activate the free pass each day

When you board, show your printed pass or active HotSpot pass to the driver.

When is the free pass valid?

The pass is valid from 4 p.m. on Friday, July 31 through until 7 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026.

Do I need a separate pass for each person?

No. One pass can be used for a family or group travelling together to and from Kempenfest.

Do I need to show my pass every time I ride?

Yes. Show your pass each time you board. If you’re using a printed pass and attending more than one day, keep it with you for the weekend.

What other ways can I get to Kempenfest?

You can also take the free Kempenfest shuttle. No pass is needed. Park your car and ride the shuttle bus from:

  • Park Place Transit Hub (near 149 Live Eight Way);
  • H-Block Parking Lot (50 Worsley St.); or

Are there waterfront parking options during Kempenfest?
